Shelby Ostrewich, LLMSW
If you have felt lost, like you want to start over, or like you don't belong, there is space for you here. Using a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, I can help guide you through whatever challenges you may be facing. I am proudly LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent affirming, and I welcome you exactly as you are. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you're looking for a change of pace, I will meet you where you are.
I support clients through all aspects of identity exploration and life transitions, working with individuals who identify as "No Sabo" or deal with conflicting feelings regarding their cultural or personal identities, or those looking to explore or rekindle their relation to their heritage. I also work with individuals questioning their gender or sexuality and those with a clear sense of identity but lacking support and affirmation in their daily lives. From struggles with work-life balance to adjusting to new environments, I want to work with you to navigate who you are and how you're experiencing your current environment and broader social or political pressures. As a service member myself, I understand military culture and recognize how challenging it can be to prioritize your well-being while balancing numerous responsibilities and identities. Regardless of your source of stress, you have a place to belong and breathe here.
Shelby is in-network with BCBSM, Aetna, Priority Health, & PHP. She is also able to see clients at a reduced rate for "out of pocket" (cash) services. If you have questions about insurance coverage, please contact your insurance provider before initiating psychological services.
*Shelby will be working under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Jurkovic.
