Feeling overwhelmed or unable to truly experience the life you want? You are not alone.
Whether you are experiencing challenges due to a life transition or health challenges or just
want to become a better version of yourself, Dr. Dodds can support you. Her approach is based in CBT and ACT, though she pulls from Positive Psychology and other schools of thought to customize an approach that makes sense for you.
Dr. Michele Dodds is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her doctoral degree from the California School for Professional Psychology in San Diego, CA in 2001 and her undergraduate degree from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.
In addition to helping individuals as they navigate life challenges, face depression or anxiety, she also has several other areas of special interest including Chronic Pain, Headaches, Weight Management, Cancer, Diabetes and other health challenges.
Dr Dodds also works with couples. Her approach to couples therapy focuses on practical communication tools, emotional regulation, and breaking the cycle of resentment. She is Gottman Level 1 Certified. Her focus is developing a concrete roadmap to help you function as a team again, not just replaying problems.
Dr. Dodds is available for both in-person and telehealth appointments. She is currently in-network with BCBS, BCN & Medicare and is in the process of getting credentialed with Aetna and United Health.
