Dr. Aaron Sedlar is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Bowling Green State University in 2019. He completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, Illinois, and an APA-accredited postdoctoral fellowship at the Detroit VA Medical Center.

Dr. Sedlar has worked in a number of mental health settings, including community mental health, hospitals, and private practice. As a result, he has worked with numerous presenting problems, co-occurring conditions, and a diverse group of clients. In particular, he has expertise in working with clients who have ADHD, OCD, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, he has specialized training in the management of insomnia (CBT-I). While he has areas of specialization, he is a generalist, and enjoys working with a wide variety of psychological difficulties.

While Dr. Sedlar’s approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), he draws from many therapeutic traditions in his work, including motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and insight-oriented therapy. He tries to take a flexible approach that is tailored to each individual client and their needs.
Dr. Sedlar has availability to see new adult clients via telehealth on Saturdays.
